When a new console is released, it usually falls into one of two categories.
So why is Nintendo going halfway? I don't really get this New 3DS thing they're doing. It's NOT a successor to the current 3DS, just a new model, yet it has controls that weren't on the original models, and it's getting games that can only be played on that particular model.
Hey, Nintendo? If you're making handheld games that your handheld hardware can't handle, porting it to a console IS an option.
- A clean slate. All new hardware, all new features, all new games
- An improved version of a current console. Perhaps it's more portable, perhaps the graphics are a bit better, but it is, for all intents and purposes, the same as the console currently on the market.
